Illegal recruiter nabbed after victimizing 14 nurses

An illegal recruiter that that has victimized 14 nurses already was arrested by the members of the National Bureau of Investigation yesterday morning.

The suspect identified as Sonny Lee Cordova of Brgy. San Antonio in Oton town was arrested inside a pension house where he is staying about 7:45 in the morning yesterday.

The 33-year-old suspect allegedly tailed away P195,000 from the 14 nurses he recruited to work abroad.

However, months have passed; yet they have not received any update from the suspect.

The NBI said that the suspect has bruises when he was found because he is allegedly suffering from leukemia.*KVB
