KALIBO, Aklan – An official of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) here called on the employees of the provincial Capitol to help eradicate graft and corruption and change the public’s negative perception about government.

She cited some practice such as bringing home of some ballpens and other school supplies for use of employees’ children in school.
If a parent takes home for a day a ballpen worth P5 and a folder also worth P5, this could amount to Pl5 million if all the 1.5 government employees practice the same every day, she shared.
Presently, the provincial government employs some 1,170 employees.
