'Aswang' attack in Lambunao?

E-mail Print PDF

A creature believed to be an 'aswang' may have been the culprit behind the death of 17 chickens owned by a pastor in Brgy. Pasig, Lambunao, Iloilo last Saturday.

Based on a report published in ABS-CBN News Online, the dead chickens were found with their blood sucked dry and no internal organs.

According to the report, Punong Barangay Rogelio Lebero said there were fingerprints found in the kitchen near the area when the chickens were killed. He said he couldn't believe that an animal could do it; instead, it was the work of a human being possessed by an evil spirit.

The website also posted that a certain Jeffrey Divino alleged that at 3 in the morning of the same day, a creature lunged at him while he was on his way to the field.

He said the creature was tall and huge, with vesicles on his face and a long chain.

Pastor Vincent Franciso, who owned the chickens, said he believes it may been a person under the influence of illegal drugs.
